Ray Systems Signs the Armed Forces Covenant
Kingston upon Thames, UK — 12 July 2026 — Ray Systems Ltd, the bio-inspired robotics company building autonomous underwater vehicles for the ocean economy, today announced it has signed the Armed Forces Covenant, formalising its commitment to supporting Service personnel, veterans, reservists and military families.
The Covenant is a pledge between the nation and those who serve, ensuring that no member of the Armed Forces community faces disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services because of their service. Ray Systems has also registered its intent to work toward Bronze accreditation under the Ministry of Defence's Employer Recognition Scheme.
As part of the pledge, Ray Systems has committed to a number of practical measures, including:
Welcoming applications from veterans, reservists, cadet instructors and military spouses and partners, and recognising military engineering, operational and leadership experience as directly relevant to its work in robotics and autonomy
Supporting reservist employees with time off for training and mobilisation
Exploring work placement opportunities for Service leavers through the Career Transition Partnership
Marking Armed Forces Day, Reserves Day and Remembrance each year
